As many of you know, I have been involved for over 30 years in many fundraisers for The Community Hospice to raise funds for hospice care for patients and families in the greater Capital Region. For those of you who don’t know, I have had various family members and close friends benefit from the wonderful services that Hospice provides. I still recall fondly a Hospice volunteer coming to my grandfather’s nursing home room in 1994 to sing him “Oh Danny Boy”, his favorite song. My grandfather died peacefully an hour or so later with my mother and I at his bedside. I will forever cherish that memory. It was that year that I decided to find a way to start getting more involved with Hospice.

Here we are, years later, and I am graciously asking for your participation and/or financial sponsorship in support of the 9th Annual Shots! Charity Golf Outing to support The Community Hospice. In our first 8 years, we have net over $179,527!!! We have done so together, thanks to the amazing support of our families, friends, co-workers, golf participants, and our generous donors and sponsors! I am hopeful that we can continue our efforts to raise funds to support the valuable services The Community Hospice provides to our communities daily.
